Monthly Meditation Group

 

Join us every second Wednesday of the month as we learn the simplest methods to ease stress and find peace in our daily, and usually, tense lives.

 

Meditation and mindfulness as practiced through sitting, calm abiding meditation and contemplation, may be studied as a way to enhance our understanding of our own minds and to develop an open understanding of how we create happiness and how we create suffering in our own lives. Also through these practices, we learn to gently train one's self to respond with kindness and compassion toward ourselves and others.

 

This group is open to anyone who is interested, whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for years. Our topics of discussion are applicable to any level or experience and the sitting, calm abiding meditation in this group setting is beneficial to everyone.

Essential Relaxation

Enjoy all the benefits of Restorative Yoga while being pampered with mini massages, reiki treatments, aromatherapy, and various spa

treatments. This class will leave you feeling renewed, refreshed, and smelling divine.  We use Young Living Essential Oils and products, the most trusted company with the Seed to Seal promise ensuring purity and quality for ultimate benefits. At only $45 for two hours of pampering, this is a fraction of the cost of going to the spa.

Restorative and Reiki

Restorative Yoga brings you into a state of being not doing. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels as there is minimal movement and effort. Props are used to support the body in comfortable, relaxing poses enabling the mind to clear, the breath to deepen, and the body to easily relax into balance. Restorative yoga relaxes the nervous system, optimizes energy flow to the organs, boosts immune function, and enhances the process of digestion. Reiki and gentle massage are optional offerings intended to deepen the experience of healing, relaxation and coming into balance.

This two hour class costs $25 and is offered once per month.  Space is limited so pre-registration is required.

 

Weekly Class Sessions

What is Reiki?

 

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is offered by laying on hands and working directly with the energy centers (chakras) in the body. Many report feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, similar to receiving a massage. The energy works to heal the client on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Reiki can easily be administered to, and learned by anyone.

Hannah Richards is a Reiki Master Teacher who has a passion for working with others to help them grow their spiritual life. Through the use of Reiki energy, the incorporation of elements (earth, air, fire, water), and simple grounding techniques I help my clients tune into their own spiritual understanding and create a solid foundation for them to experience new levels of growth & self-realization.
